My own projects ....extremely long term

As you might expect, getting around to my own projects becomes a never ending story. But, now that I am just in my sixties, I had better re evaluate the order of things!

You can never have too many projects as far as keeping your wishes and dreams active, but here is a bit of structure to the coming years...Bucket list items to at least move forward are this old Wisconsin Marine Special and 1946 Auster J1N G-AGXU.

The Marine Special is a 1918 Model T Ford based Outlaw racer. We have most things to complete except for a gearbox. The engine is Model A. I do have the rear axle and wheels but they are still tucked away in the Barn ...we've just wheel barrowed this part out for some inspiration. Makes a good garden ornament!

The Auster is partially restored, but still much airframe work to do. She remains in the garden hanger (long shed) but we will have a sort out before winter ready for some more work. Because of this I have presented an online photo for you to see this aeroplane in her heyday and a view from a year or so ago from my kitchen window, "X-ray Uniform" basking in the sunshine.

I do not own this photo, I have borrowed it from https://www.na3t.org/air/photo/AB00302 Thank you to NA3T

Tucked away in her hanger 2020. WIP!
