"Lockdown 2020" Rediscovering The Fun of Modelling. Perhaps the Foundation in Engineering Art [Please click here to see more]

Eduardo II, The first project of my modelling rediscovery. A friend gave me a model glowplug outboard Sea Fury dating from 1955 and I had been thinking how to display it in the best possible way. Eduardo II broke the 100 mph outboard record in 1953 (see the above post) and became an inspiration to model in approx 1/12 scale. As you can see the next projects follow..

Flying Flea "Pou De Ciel", this one was registered in Wimborne Dorset 1936.

Quickly followed by one of my favourite aircraft the Gee Bee Z, albeit as a profile for some RTP (electric round the pole tethered flying on the same principles as Scalextric) fun with the grand children at the weekend of course.. If you would like to have flying fun with the family contact https://www.thertphut.co.uk/ for great help and service. For Free Flight inspiration have a look at https://www.youtube.com/user/maxfliart/featured and relax.

As delicate as it is, the Pou de Ciel is due to be a flying model, perhaps free flight electric as well as RTP on gentle calm evenings.

Here is a link to 6 videos that I made during the lockdown. the first chats about all sorts of hobby interests and opportunity the others take you on a tour:
