A review of some of late last year and 2024 so far..

All sorts below including; Turner, Wolseley, Triumph Gloria Vitesse, Amilcar and more.
Much of the work depicts a great deal of time consuming and especially exhausting "thinking" time as it involves development, adaptation and alteration with no president or blueprint to consult.
A majority of the pictures are of the 1930s Wolseley Hornet Spl. and as this car includes a lot of prototype units, we have had to go through quite a lot of development, test fitting, machining and trial assembly.
You can also see work involving Turner suspension bushes and steering including adapting a lovely wooden rim steering wheel centre  and boss.
On a different note... I am getting older.. and I am beginning to look at much smaller projects as time goes on. In this example, model racing cars suitable for a slot track.
Once again, lots of development and machining to make them authentic representations of  historically inspirational cars which require many of the skills that I use on the full size items.
More on those in a later blog entry

The photos below are in no particular order of project or vehicle don't forget to click on them to enlarge for viewing.

Even alteration of the heads of these clutch plate bolts to gain precious clearance.

Below, no decals or Nylocks allowed (with a very small exception) on this 30s racer

An old project for sorting.

Evening work in progress, waiting for wheel turning from steel and wood and chassis fitting and soldering
